Physical properties of HDPE:
1. Good impact resistance and cold resistance, and resistance to environmental stress cracking.
2. Excellent chemical stability and good oil resistance.
3. Water absorption and small, low water permeability, high organic vapor permeability.
4. Good electrical insulation and excellent dielectric properties in all frequency ranges.
5. The use temperature of HDPE is not high, generally below 110 ℃.
6. HDPE has poor aging resistance. Under the action of atmosphere, sunlight and oxygen, it gradually becomes brittle, and its mechanical strength and electrical properties decrease.
7. At the molding temperature, the viscosity will drop due to oxidation, discoloration and streaks will appear.
