The difference between HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE in polyethylene materials

LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE have different differences in density, use and properties. Let's briefly talk about it: 1. Density
HDPE is high-density polyethylene with the highest density, ranging from 0.941 g/cm3 to 0.960 g/cm3. The density of LDPE as low density polyethylene and linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) is lower, between 0.910-0.940 g/cm3 and 0.915-0.935 g/cm3, respectively.
2. Purpose
HDPE can be used as a sheet by extrusion, and bottles, barrels and other containers can be produced by blow molding. LDPE is mostly used to make film products, such as packaging, agricultural film, etc. LLDPE can be used to make mulch and can also be used in molding.
3. Nature
HDPE and LLDPE have good heat resistance and are also resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis and organic solvents, but LDPE has low heat resistance and poor resistance to organic solvents. In addition, HDPE and LLDPE have good impermeability, while LDPE has poor moisture barrier.
